Sunset
Sometimes the best perks at work are the ones that aren't official. I used to work in a four-story building at the University that had a rooftop observatory. In Huntsville, AL, it's nearly impossible to photograph the sky without your image being cluttered with telephone poles and power wires. That's where a rooftop observatory comes into play. This undated sunset was captured from the rooftop of my building. The tall spikes are lightning rods attached to the building.
