Subsun
Now this natural phenomenon is not frequently seen unless you do a lot of air travel or happen to live in the mountains where clouds often form below you. A subsun is an image of the Sun produced by the Sun's own light reflected off of cloud tops. I snapped this photo from a commercial airliner while enroot from Atlanta, GA to Portland, OR on 2000-06-18.
