Great Smoky Mountains
My brother and I spent several days hiking and taking pictures in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in December of 2001. These images of the mountains taken on 2001-12-28 explain why the Cherokee called it "Land of Blue Smoke." The first image was taken at Newfound Gap while the second is from the Chimney Tops.
